Rider is responsive and customizable, you can pick your color scheme, keyboard bindings and what not. This is a big advantage for Rider: it just looks and behaves the same everywhere. Visual Studio also supports Mac and Linux, but not all of these platforms have the same feature set. It is cross-platform, meaning, it can run on both Windows, Mac and several flavors of Linux, offering the same set of functionality and identical behavior on all of them.
